 Quaker Peace and Social Witness

Quaker peace and Social Witness sends workers to regions troubled by conflict. They make good relationships with people on all sides of divided communities and help groups in conflict to listen to one another. they give relief to victims of conflict and help train bereavement counsellors. They support local organisations working for peace and justice by training people in conflict resolution skills.

They work for social justice in Britain ie influnce government polices in favour of affordable housing, truth and integrity in public affairs, racial justice, social and economic justice.

A Parliamentary Liaison Officer is employed to track new legislation. Briefings are mailed so that co-ordinated action can be taken.
